EF-Composites pty ltd hand fabricate a range of Fibreglass/Composite 1932 & 1934 Ford Style Hot Rod Kits. Originally we aimed & sold these Kits directly to Hot Rod builders with no branding, so to allow a high quality and economic starting point for their builds. As the industry evolved, we did too and now a lot of these Kits are sold to the general public.
Our EF - Hot Rods are made by hand with hand laid fibreglass reinforcement with in a Isothalic resin matrix. Our bodies have the base (minimum) structural laminate (fibre reinforcement thickness, which dose not include gelcoat thickness) of 4mm and the floors are minimum base of 6mm, which is significantly greater than the industry's standard. The gelcoat that is used is designed specifically for automotive application with outstanding sanding qualities and with outstanding surface stability within the normal urethane paint oven systems.
We also offer custom structural laminates for race versions of this range. This can be tailored to the clients needs and budgets (within realistic parameters). All variance from the standard laminate is a up grade and so it is a quoted cost on top of the standard build price.
